Awesome... my mate told me about this place, so whilst in my campervan we dropped in for a amazing afternoon cheeseburger, faultless the burger was so thick, great skin on fries, perfection to the point that we returned the next morning for the belly Busting breakfast. Lin & the staff are lovely to, great food, great service and surprisingly in today's climate excellent value for money. Lin told me they just celebrated one year of business, I'm sure there going to be around, thankfully for a long time .

A hidden gem. This is a proper cafe run the proper way with a good honest proper owner. Great food, great value. Lots to choose from and all cooked fresh to order. Real bacon, real steam burgers. I paid £10:25 for this meal and a can of drink. Bargain and Well worth the visit. I’ve had so called Gormet burgers from restaurants at double the price that didn’t look or taste anywhere near as good as this. I had to ask for a half portion of chips as last time I was given so many I couldn’t finish them. There’s also a mini book library offering free books which is a nice traditional touch. Staff are very friendly. Plenty of parking in site and outdoor tables too. Such a nice place.

Absolutely delicious. Everything cooked to perfection. Bacon rind crisp with the loin lightly toasted but not dry - Lin is a true grill master, let the record show. No black pudding unfortunately but that was due to the Scottish gentlemen clearing out the joint moments before. If it’s anything like the food that was served I don’t doubt that it would have been just as tasty. Service was friendly, place was overflowing with warmth and great value. Would 100% recommend.

What a place! Something we've needed here for a long time. Really friendly stuff with a great sense of humour. Great food at reasonable prices and in a setting with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Honestly, give Lins a go! Best cafe in town, and she says there are lots of things in the works!

Nice basic cafe. Serves good quality bacon baps and an excellent pot of real English tea. Plenty of seating inside and out. Friendly service.
